KAMP NASTA BRAIN TESTING: Nirvani 5 C, Aavani Prasad 8 B, Viraj 8 A topped at district level.

Akash Sharma, Class 12 B cleared the written test as well as interview and was eligible for KVYP fellowship pf monthly ₹ 5000 and annual contingency grant of ₹ 20,000 if pursues sciences in college.
Akash Sharma (12 B) scored 99.3 in JEE score card. Qualified UPSC NDA combined exam.
Vrinda (12 C) scored 99.4 in JEE main.

1) Vijul Ahuja got Gold medal in Delhi State Championship – athletics. She also got Rs. 2 lakh from Delhi Govt. and was adjudged as the best athlete.
2) Summer Athletic Meet was organized by Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Vijul Ahuja yet again secured the first position in 200 and 400 meter race and made the school proud. Nikhil Nirala of class VI also secured the fifth position in long jump.
3) Senior Volleyball boys’ team secured first position in Zonal competition. (Devraj, Mayank,Raghav, Anshul, Gagan, Aryan - class IX Pankaj XII, Vishal and Yaman XI )
4) Senior Volleyball Girls team secured first position in Zonal competition. (Bheeni Krishnan,Manvi Bhoj, Bhavayashree, Sanya Saini, Jazmeen Sidhu, Priya, Nandini Dangwal, Aashi Sharma, Srilakshmi, Vedika Khanna and Manya Bisht)
5) Sub Junior Volleyball Girls team secured first position in Zonal competition. (Saianshi Negi, Anushka, Pokhriyal, Pranavi Rawat, Unnati Jhamnani, Upasana Istwal, Aparna Singh, Pihu Kaushik, Sakshi Mishra, Anushka Narwal, Muskan, Dhriti Bambroo and Gaurika Khanna)
6) Shashi Singh Physical Education teacher from our school participated in Volleyball European Masters games which were held at Italy (Torino) from 25th July to 6th August and she won the Gold batch Medal.
7) Vasu Dhyani of class IX got selected for Khelo India to represent the school in Gymanstics.

SILICO BATTLES - October 31, 2019

To hone the technical skills a few students participated in 'Silico Battles', organised by Ahlcon Public School on 31st Oct and 1st Nov 2019. Two students Vaishnavi Sinha and Aniket Singh of class XI A won the first prize in E-Waste Management, where they made working models of 'Garbage Collector/Smart Bin' , 'Mopper' and "Vaccum Cleaner", with the e-waste available in school. Kshitiz Prakash of Class XI A won 3rd prize in Dexterity, in which he created an app using App inventor and presented the same to the Judges and the audience. And last but not the least, Prashant NIgam of class XI A, also won 3rd Prize in 'RESPAWN PC".

IIHM TEACHERS’ DAY AWARDS - October 31, 2019

IIHM Teachers Day Awards 2019, is a unique initiative by International Institute of Hotel Management, in association with the International Hospitality Council, London & Delhi. Our school was chosen for The IIHM Teachers Day Awards 2019, for imparting holistic and high standard of education to the students of the nation. We were requested to nominate one teacher who has contributed selflessly towards imparting knowledge and helped students understand the related subjects and life skills. Ms Seema Nagpal, PGT (Physics) was conferred this award.

WILD WISDOM QUIZ - October 4, 2019

The Wild Wisdom Quiz provides an opportunity and platform to bring students closer to nature and spark a passion in them for nature conservation. A quiz is an ideal platform to reach out to young minds and inculcate a sense of biodiversity conservation amongst them. WWF India organized state level quiz on 4th October at The Shri Ram School, Gurugram. It saw an amazing participation from quizzers across Delhi. The students from primary and middle wing also participated in the quiz. The objective of this quiz was to raise awareness about flora and fauna and sensitize students towards our World’s rich biodiversity.

SCRABBLE COMPETITION - September 28, 2019

When most the people think of Scrabble, they think of a leisurely game played in grandma’s living room. But for a few thousand people, the iconic board game is a competitive, highly cerebral discipline, worthy of hundreds of hours of study and a lifetime of obsession. Two students from our school participated in the 14th Delhi State Scrabble Championship held on 28th Sept 2019. The students enthusiastically participated in the event. Atin Jain of Class VII B bagged the 4th rank in B category whereas Tanish Gupta of Class VII B secured the 7th rank in the same category. The team made the school proud as it stood 4th in their category.

Co-curricular Achievements

Janam Lodha(9 yrs. old) of class 4th has been sponsored by an Australian Sports Company "Spartans" as an upcoming and a promising star in the field of cricket. Divit Raheja of class 2-A and Ananya Maikhuri of class 3-A were selected for National Level Award in Mitsubishi Asian Children's Enikki Festa 2017-18. 180 entries of total number of 4673 were selected by a jury of Art teachers and professional artists.

Ms. Richa Sharma and Mrs. Shashi Kharbanda (TGT- Hindi) were conferred the State Teacher’s Award 2017, with a citation and a cash award by the Govt. of Delhi for their valuable contribution towards the education.
