1. Students are expected to
conduct themselves in a dignified and responsible
manner.
2. Students are forbidden bring objectionable
literature/material, in the school premises, or to
make purchases from hawkers outside the school
gates. Any willful damage done to school
property/premises, will invite punitive measure.
3. The school is not responsible for the loss of
any articles of value in the school premises.
Bringing Mobile phones are strictly not allowed.
If a student is caught having the possession of
mobile phone the same will be taken away and not
be returned.
4. Students are accountable to the school
authorities for their behaviors both inside and
outside the school, particularly when in the
school uniform.
5. Students are allowed to enter the school only
in school uniform.
6. Students must keep the school and class rooms
clean.
7. Every student must bring his/her books ,
lab-coats , and stationery to school
8. All the school students must reach school by
7.50 A.M. No. student will be allowed to leave
school without an authentic leave letter from
parent/guardian. No student will be allowed to
enter the school gates after 8.05 A.M under any
circumstances.
9. Leave must be taken with prior written
sanction.
10. No student shall indulge in any of the
following:
a. Skipping / bunking classes, or reporting late
to class.
b. Non-submission of assignments
c. Disruptive behavior
d. Using abusive language and bullying others.
e. Open defiance and rude behavior.
f. Any from of violence or gangsterism.
g. Casteism or practice of untouchability.
h. Bursting crackers , throwing colour or painting
faces in school
i. Excessive spending and flaunting of money in
school.
j. Spitting or littering in the school premises.
11. Outside school, the students are expected to
behave with dignity. They must not visit clubs,
theatres or restaurants in school uniform.
12. The violation of the school rules will be
viewed seriously.
13. Student found using unfair means during the
examinations will be marked zero in that subject.
These students will not be eligible for any
academic awards or school appointments.
14. No casual wear is allowed on birthdays.
Ordering food from outside, bringing cakes and
organizing birthday parties in the class in not
allowed.

1. Avid readers will be
awarded an extra library card as an incentive.
2. Each student will be provided with a borrower
Card.
(A) Classes IV to VIII – one card.
(B) Classes IX to XII – Two Cards.
3. A book will be issued for 14 days. No new book
will be issued till the previous one is returned.
4. If a book is not returned within the stipulated
time, a fine of Rs. 10/- per day will be imposed
till the book is returned.
5. Loss of a book is to be intimated in writing to
the Librarian, It should either be replaced by the
student or a fine equal to the cost of the book will
be levied, by the school.
6. A duplicate Library Card may be issued to a
student by the Librarian, if informed in writing of
the loss of the original card. A charge of Rs. 5/-
per card will be made.
7. Students are not allowed to take their satchels
inside the library. Journals, magazines and
reference books are to be handled with care.
Mutilation or disfiguring of the books/magazines
etc. will invite penalty.
8. Complete silence is to be maintained inside and
in the vicinity of the library.
9. Each student shall record in his/her diary, the
names of the books he/she read during the session.
These entries will be counter signed by the
librarian.

There is a canteen in the
school campus. The students may buy eatables and
soft drinks from the canteen only during the break.
The students are expected to:-
1. Stand in a queue to buy foodstuff and litter the
canteen area.
2. Not to damage canteen property and pay in cash
for items purchased.
3. Behave decently and not to snatch food from the
juniors.
In case of any misconduct the student will be
debarred from the canteen facility.

It is compulsory for every
student to possess a diary.
|
The student's particulars on
the first page must be duly filled and signed by the
parents.
|
Each student is required to
note down the day to day home assignments in it.
|
Parents are requested to see
the remarks given in the diary, especially those
given after tests and sign them.
|
Parents are requested to
personally contact class or subject teachers after
obtaining a prior appointment, or on the Saturday
meant for parent-teacher interaction as per calendar
given later, in case their ward is not making the
desired progress.

1. 75 % attendance is required
and no relaxation of any kind will be granted to the
student who fails to fulfill the school as well as
the CBSE requirement.
2. The student’s name will be struck off the rolls
on account of continued, unexplained absence for six
consecutive days.
3. Medical fitness certificate is necessary in case
of illness for more than five days. Even a day’s
absence during the examination on medical grounds is
required to be supported by a medical certificate
from s Registered Medical Practitioner.
4. Absence from the school for social function
should be discouraged. There is no provision for
short/half days leave.
5. A student suffering from any infectious disease
can rejoin the school only after the completion of
the quarantine period, certified by a registered
Medical practitioner.
A) Chickenpox : until scab falls completely or three
weeks.
B) Cholera : Complete recovery
C) Measles : Two weeks after the rashes
D) Mumps : Till the swelling subsides
E) Whooping cough : Six weeks
F) Viral Fever : Two weeks
G) Typhoid : Twenty one days
H) Conductivities : Complete recovery

1. Fees may be deposited only
at Canara Bank at Vasundhara Enclave , Delhi-110096
2. (A) Fees deposit time in school is from 9.00 AM
to 1 PM (Monday to Friday) and 9AM-11.00 AM on
(Saturdays)
(B) Fees may be deposited in the school Account
office from 1st to 10th of the first month of each
quarter.
3. Payment should be made by account payee cheque
/draft payable to Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar,
PH-III Delhi-110096, Tuition fee, admission fee and
other charges and funds are subject to revision and
will be charges as directed by the school management
from time to time.
4. Last date for deposit of school dues is latest by
15th of the first month i.e. April, July, October
& January. Thereafter school fees will be
accepted only with a late of Rs.50 per day.
5. The name of student shall be struck off the
school rolls automatically if not paid quarterly
according to rule 167 of the Delhi School Education
act and Rules 1973.
6. If all dues are not cleared by the end of the
session, the student’s result will be withheld.
7. One counterfoil of the fee slip is to be handed
over to the class teacher.
8. Transport charges are payable along with school
fee.
9. Parents/Guardians should make correct entries on
all four counterfoils of the booklet presenting the
same to the bank.
10. Parents can also deposit the fees the whole
them, if they find it more convenient.
11. In case of a holiday on the past payment date,
if fees may be paid on the next working day without
a late fee fine.
12. Duplicate fee booklet will be issued on payment
of Rs. 50/- from the school office.
13. Kindly Deposit MICR (Magnetic lnk character
Recognition) instrument only.
14. At the time of withdrawal of your ward only the
security Deposit will be refunded.
15. Kindly furnish details of your latest contact
number and residential address.
16. Seven days notice and No due Clearance
Certificate is required for obtaining the School
Leaving Certificate.
17. If the security amount is not claimed within
three months of the student’s leaving the school.
The same will be forfeited.

1. All students must come to
school in proper uniform.
2. Girls are not allowed to wear jewellery , use
cosmetics ,nail polish or ‘mehandi’ ,boys too ,are
not allowed to wear jewellery or experience uptakes.
3. Boys, other than Sikhs, must keep very short
hair.
4. Junior girls must wear knee-length skirts. Girls
of classes VI upwards must wear salwar kameez, with
the length of the kameez below the knees.
5. School uniform should be neat and tidy and not
shabby or torn. Wearing house uniform on Friday is a
must for the students of class I-X. Wear low waist
trousers or altered are strictly not allowed. In
such cases the student will be sent back home.
