We believe one is nearer to God through games, running, volleyball or a tug of war, through self exploration and inner realization. Through health and physical education, students develop a positive and responsible attitude to their own physical, mental and emotional, social & spiritual well being; respect for the rights of other people, care and concern for other people in their community, for the environment and for social justice. And this all will help the communities 'sustain' themselves down 'Time'.

EDUCATIONAL VALUES OF SPORTS : Joy of effort, Fair play, Respect for others, Pursuit for excellence, Balance between Body, Will & Mind

It is definitely not through academics alone that we can imbibe these human values in our students...the IPL, English Premier League, The Olympics, The Commonwealth Games, The Asian Games, The Salwan Marathon and other sports too play a definite role in moulding the character of the community and we are working in that direction to sustain the movement.

Coaching is available six days a week from National Level Coaches in Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Athletics, Badminton, Skating and Martial Arts. Students are encouraged to discover their potential through build up of the biceps and muscles. The indoor activities to stimulate the mind include Chess, Table tennis, Carom, Gymnastics and Swimming. Little wonder, even today some of the shining stars of sports in the International arena got their first coaching at Salwan Schools.
