Visit to Mother Dairy Plant
Date:3rd May, 2019
A workshop on robotics-hand generated car and castor boat was organized at National Science Centre on 3rd May,19. Students of classes VII and VIII participated with keen enthusiasm. The aim of the workshop was to arouse interest in the field of robotics among the students. The workshop began with an interactive session on robots in which they were familiarized with the basic difference between machines and robots. After the session, they assembled a hand generated car and a castor boat themselves using the Lego kit provided. They enjoyed the session and felt motivated to attend more sessions on robotics at higher level in future.




Movie Viewing
Date: 26th July, 2019
A movie show was organised on 26 July, 2019 for students of classes 1 and 2 at Movie times, Noida sector -18. The movie chosen for the students was ‘The Lion King’ which has inspired children to push their limits and reach for stars. The movie enabled students to understand certain values which though already being imparted in a classroom can be easily reinforced through a visual medium. They spontaneously burst into the lively song ' Hakuna Matala' after the movie.                        


Visit to Valmiki Bhavan and Gandhi Smriti

Date: 27th September, 2019
Students of class 8th were taken for an educational trip to Valmiki Bhavan and Gandhi Smriti to acquaint them about the life of Gandhi Ji, his values, principles, struggle for independence and his journey of becoming from MOHAN TO MAHATMA. The students were intrigued to see the walls of the museum were adorned with black and white photographs of Gandhiji with not only the famous people of his times but also of our prime minister, Narender Modi ji. Visiting Gandhi Smriti (earlier called Birla House) on Tees Hazari Marg, was a touching experience for the students as it was the site Mahatma's assassination.




TRIP TO KIDZANIA
Date: 16th October, 2019

An excursion to Kidzania for the students of classes 1 and 2 was organized on 16 October, 2019. Unlike any traditional theme park or entertainment zone, Kidzania provides an environment that empowers kids to explore the wide and amazing world. It provided first-hand experience of different occupations and careers that they could explore. The students indulged in various activities which stimulated their creative thinking and boosted their self-confidence. Through this experience, they also learnt life values, social skills and team work. The excursion strengthened in them the bond of friendship, sense of responsibility, value of sharing and quality of independence.




VISIT TO NATIONAL ZOOLOGICAL PARK
Date: 20th September, 2019
With an objective of sensitizing students about the animal kingdom and various existent species, Nursery and preprimary students were taken for a field trip to National Zoological Park. Visiting a zoo offers so many incredible learning opportunities. The faces of the kids lighted up and their smiles came alive as they pointed to each animal in excitement. Not just animals, students even encountered some never seen before birds like emu, pelicans, big owls, water birds like ducks, cranes and many more. During their journey back to school in bus, the students shared their observations and acquired priceless knowledge.






“Leadership Camp 2018”

Date:9th Feb 2018 and 16th Feb 2018

With the objective of developing leadership qualities,including survival skills and instilling a sense of adventure in the students .Salwan Public School, MV-III organized a one day Adventure camp on february , 9 th and 16 th feb 2016 at Salwan public School,MV IIIand Damdama Lake, Gurgaon or Patel Nager, camp sierra.The camp was specially designed for the students tobring into them a sense of responsibility, adventure,togetherness and independence. Although the camp featured age appropriate activities, students were challenged both physically and mentally. They also got an idea on various survival techniques during calamities and disasters. The safety of the students had been taken into account and they were supervised by the experts. Over 860 students participated in the camp with loads of zeal and enthusiasm and displayed tremendous confidence, determination, will power and vigor. The event provides a rare opportunity tothe students to test as well as develop their drive, resolve and panache for adventure. The participation and extraordinary response of the students, including the tiny tots of class III, provided a testimony to the fact the camp was a mega successful one.
